장애인 한국남성과 결혼한 결혼이주여성들의삶의 경험과 글로벌 돌봄노동 맥락에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 한국사회로 이주한 결혼이주여성들의 삶의 경험과 글로벌 돌봄노동 맥락을 탐색하기 위하여 장애인과 결혼한 결혼이주여성 10명을 심층면접하고 근거이론을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 드러난 총 283개의개념을 압축하여 160개의 개념과 60개의 하위범주, 26개의 범주를 도출하였다. 핵심범주는 “가난이 원죄가 되어 글로벌 케어 체인 시스템(system of global care chain)의 부속품이 되었다가 주체적 에이전시(personal agency) 를 부활시켜 낯선 땅에 뿌리내리는 삶”으로 나타났으며 과정분석 및 상황모형이 제시되었다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 결혼이주여성들이 결혼이주 과정에서 경험한 삶의 경험과 글로벌 돌봄 노동 맥락에 대한 실체이론(Substantive theory)을 도출하였고 다문화정신장애인가족과 결혼이주여성들의 삶의 질 제고와 사회통합을 위한 정책적, 실천적 방안을 제시하였다.

This study seeks to understand the lives of married migrant women and the global care work. To fulfill this task, it focused on interviewing the ten cases of migrant women who are married with handicapped people based on grounded theory. As a result of analysis, there are one hundred of sixty three concepts and sixty subcategories, and twenty six categories. The core category is that “a life that became a part of the global care chain due to poverty being an original sin and then taking root in an unfamiliar land by reviving one’s personal agency.” The type analysis is based on the core category including a conditional matrix and process analysis. Based on the result of analysis, this study derived a substantive theory on foreign brides living in Korea, recovering and fighting to build their own personal agency, challenging the pressure from their original countries, and the unreasonable social structure of Korea as a host country. Consequently, the study suggests the policy and practice implications based on these findings.
