국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 관점에서 바라본 대학 무용교육 전문인의 직무 유형과 책무 탐색

Abstract

우리나라 대학무용교육의 중요성과 역할은 오래 전부터 인정받아 왔으나, 최근 대학 무용교육이 국가사회적 요구의 미반영 및 산업현장과 불일치(mismatch)된 현상으로 대학무용교육의 정체성에 위협을 받고 있다. 이 위협을 최소화하기 위한방안으로 본 연구의 목적은 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 관점으로 산업현장에서 필요로 하는 대학무용교육전문인의 직무유형과 책무를 탐색하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 직무분석기법(job analysis)인 DACUM (Developing A CUrriculuM)기법을 활용하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 관점에서 바라본 무용교육 전문인의 정의는 지도능력 뿐만 아니라 무용지식, 인성태도, 운영 및 관리능력을 갖추어야함으로 나타났다. 둘째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 관점에서 바라본 대학 무용교육전문인의 직무유형은 생활 예술무용 교․강사, 생활 건강무용교․강사, 예술무용수 양성 교․강사, 직업무용수 양성 교․강사로 타나났다. 셋째, NCS관점에서 바라 본 대학 무용교육전문인의 직무유형별 책무와 과업은 무용교육전문인의 공통책무, 공통과업과 직무유형별 책무와 과업으로 각각 도출되었다. 그 결과, 우리나라 대학 무용교육의 교육과정에서는 현장에서 요구되는 직무유형별 책무와 과업이 반영된 국가직무능력표준(NCS)기반 교육과정이 필요함이 제시되었다.

The importance and role of dance education in higher education has been recognized, but recently its status has been getting crisis, due to mismatch of business market as well as disregarding national and societal needs. The purpose of this study is to explore the occupational type and duty of professional dance instructors in higher education from th perspective of the National Competency Standards(NCS). As the results, first, an exploration of professional dance instructors from the NCS perspective has revealed that the definition of professional dance instructors must include knowledge of dance based on ethical attitude that will satisfy the demands of the learners of varied backgrounds, as well as the ability to operate dance programs while providing adequate guidance and executing teaching responsibilities. Second, there are four occupation types of professional dance instructors: amateur dance instructors, amateur health dance instructors, professional dance instructors, and professional dance instructors. Third, the common responsibilities of theses instructors have shown the ability to operate and manage classes, design courses, enhance guidance and collect information. These results show that dance education in college needs organized curriculum which are based on dance field’s competency, duty and task based on NCS curriculum.
