청소년 운동선수들의 평가염려 완벽주의와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 다차원스포츠자신감과 경쟁특성불안의 관계

Abstract

이 연구는 청소년 운동선수들의 평가염려 완벽주의와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 다차원 스포츠 자신감과 경쟁특성불안의 관계를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 2017년 대한 체육회에 운동선수로 등록되어 있고 서울시와 경기도 지역에 위치한 중, 고등학교 운동선수 309명을 대상으로 관계를 검증한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻게 되었다. 청소년 운동선수들의 평가염려 완벽주의와 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움, 스포츠 자신감과 경쟁특성불안 간에는 정적, 부적으로 유의한 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났고 이들 요인 중 경쟁특성불안에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 스포츠숙련자신감으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 스포츠인지효율자신감과 수행에 대한 의심, 실수에 대한 염려, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의 요인 순으로 영향력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과들은 경쟁특성불안의 대처에서 스포츠 자신감과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움 그리고 평가염려 완벽주의에 대해 다루는 것의 중요성을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative valuation, multidimensional sport confidence and competitive trait anxiety of adolescent athletes. In order to achieve these purposes, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 309 middle and high school athletes in Seoul City and Gyeonggi Do areas. The following conclusions were obtained. The correlation between evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative valuation, multidimensional sport confidence and competitive trait anxiety showed a significant level between each sub-factor. The influence that evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative valuation and multidimensional sport confidence have on competitive trait anxiety are "sport-confidence about physical skills and training", "sport-confidence about cognitive efficiency", "a doubt about the performance", anxiety about a mistake", "fear of negative evaluation" and "socially prescribed perfectionism". This result suggest importance of dealing with evaluative concerns perfectionism, fear of negative valuation and multidimensional sport confidence in reduce the competitive trait anxiety.
