In order to experience Virtual Reality (VR) contents realistically, a Head-Mounted Display (HMD) user should be able to immerse themselves in a virtual environment. Gesture interfaces allow the user to immerse in the virtual environment by recognizing and using the user's movement. To maximize this effect, we propose a new gesture interface that can take the advantages of both hand and body gestures for the navigation of virtual environments. Experimental results show that the proposed gesture interface has expanded the available virtual environment, increasing the immersion.-
