dc.description.abstractWhen a pile is driven, there occur noise and ground vibration. Hence, it is almost impossible to construct a building using driven piling methods in a residence area. As a solution to this problem, auger-drilled piling method with a low level of noise and ground vibration has been suggested. SIP method has been the most popular method in Korea. However, SIP method cannot be applied to the places where drilled holes can be easily collapsed, and research and understanding about construction quality control are poor in quality, which results in a lack of design bearing capacity. Therefore, in order to reduce construction pollution and to improve the problems that involve drilled hole collapsing and lowered design bearing capacity, we have suggested and used SDA piling method. However, the evaluation method of bearing capacity has not been established yet, so we have done dynamic pile load test using PDA and static pile load test and analyzed unit frictional resistance of SDA piles according to soil stratum and N value, which has produced an evaluation formula.-
