dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a W-band planar-type monopolequasi Yagi-Uda antenna has been designed usingmetal-coated through glass silicon via structures. The 3Dstructures of the antenna including the radiator, reflectors anddirector are realized by tungsten-coated silicon via structuresembedded in the reflowed glass substrate with goodhigh-frequency characteristics. The proposed Yagi-Udaantenna exhibits high gains with end-fire radiationcharacteristics. Simulation results show that the designedantenna operates at W-band of frequency ranging from 82GHzto 92 GHz, and the average gain in the end-firedirection more than 7.7 dB. | - |
