This paper presents a new design of Magnetic-Geared Permanent Magnet (PM) machine based on Halbach array magnetic arrangement. By creating stronger and more effective coupling between generated magnetic fields the proposed structure intensifies the working flux harmonics, and thus, features a higher torque density with respect to conventional structures. The impact of the PMs size/dimensions and PM manufacturing/cutting defects in the overall torque characteristic is investigated through a series of sensitivity analysis.-
