어머니의 부부갈등과 양육행동 간 관련성에서 우울의 매개효과

Abstract

목적 본 연구는 유아를 양육하고 있는 어머니의 부부갈등이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 우울의 매개효과를 규명하였다. 방법 만 4. 5세 유아를 양육하고 있는 어머니를 조사대상으로 하였다. 어머니의 부부갈등과 우울 및 양육행동에 대한 질문지를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계 분석과 상관관계 분석 및 회귀분석 방법을 실시하였으며, Sobel test를 통하여 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 결과 어머니의 부부갈등은 우울에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 어머니의 우울은 거부적 양육행동에 정적 영향을 미치고 자율적 양육행동에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 부부갈등이 양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 우울의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 어머니의 부부갈등이 거부적 양육행동과 자율적 양육행동에 미치는 영향에서 우울의 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 부모의 양육행동에 대한 개입은 부부관계와 어머니의 심리적 건강을 증진시키기 위한 개입을 포함해야 할필요성을 시사한다.

Objectives This study examined the mediating effects of depression in the associations between marital conflict and parenting styles of mothers with young children. Methods Participants were 200 mothers living in Kyungki-do. Statistical methods used for this study were descriptive analysis, correlational analysis and regression analysis. Results The results of this study revealed that marital conflict of mothers had positive influences on depression. Rejective parenting styles of mothers were positively affected by depression and autonomy-supportive parenting styles of mothers were negatively affected by depression. The results from regression analysis indicated that depression mediated the relationship between marital conflict and parenting styles of mothers with young children. Conclusions This study identified the importance of marital relationships and mental health of mothers for improving parenting styles of mothers with young children
