체험(실습)형태의 수업이 대학생의 교육가치 및 수업 만족도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 국내에 소재하고 있는 대학교 중 체험(실습)형태의 수업을 듣고 있는 대학생을 대상으로 체험요인을 Pine&Gilmore의 체험경제이론 속 4가지 측면(4E's: Entertainment, Education, Escapist, Esthetic)으로 분류하고 체험 수업의 교육 가치인 정서적·기능적 가치에 대하여 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이로 인해 지각된 가치들이 대학생의 수업 만족도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는 연구이다. 이를 위하여 2023년 12월 5일부터 12월 23일까지 서울, 경기지역에 소재하고 있는 대학에 체험형태의 실습수업을 수강한 경험이 있는 예체능계열 대학생을 대상으로 구글 온라인 설문지를 배포하여 217부의 설문을 회수하였다. 이 설문 중에서 불성실한 설문 5부를 제외한 후, 최종분석에는 모두 212부가 이용되었다. 그리고 설문조사 실시 후 설문자료는 SPSS 24.0과 AMOS 24.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적요인분석, 구조방정식모델 등을 실시하였다.본 연구의 분석결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체험 수업 참여 학생의 체험요인인 오락적 체험, 일탈적 체험은 정서적 가치에 대해서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 체험 수업 참여 학생의 체험요인인 오락적 체험, 교육적 체험은 기능적 가치에 대해서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 체험 수업 참여 학생의 교육가치인 정서적 가치와 기능적 가치는 수업 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 교육정책 추진 시 학생들의 수업 만족도에 긍정적 성향을 띈 다양한 체험형태라는 수단적인 교육관을 지양하고, 학습자를 위한 교육의 가치·이해에 대한 논의를 할 수 있을 것이다.

This study classifies experience factors into four aspects of Pine &Gilmore's experiential economy theory(4E's: Entertainment, Education, Escapist, Esthetic) for college students who are taking experiential (practical) classes in Korea, and empirically analyzes how perceived values affect the emotional and functional values of experiential classes. To this end, from December 5th to December 23rd, 2023, 217 copies of the survey were collected by distributing a Google online questionnaire to college students in arts and sports who had taken experience-type practical classes at universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. After excluding five unfaithful surveys among these surveys, a total of 212 copies were used for the final analysis. And for the survey data after the survey, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model were conducted using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. The analysis results of this study are presented as follows. First, it was found that the entertainment and deviant experiences, which are the experience factors of students participating in the experiential class, had a significant effect on the emotional value. Second, it was found that the entertainment and educational experiences, which are the experience factors of students participating in the experiential class, had a significant effect on the functional value. Third, it was analyzed that the emotional and functional values, which are the educational values of students participating in the experiential class, had a significant effect on class satisfaction.
