피아노 교육의 문제 및 개선방안: 피아노교수법 학회와 피아노학원 연합회를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 피아노 교사들의 관점에서 바라본 피아노 교육의 문제점을 밝히고 앞으로 피아노 교육이 나아가야 할 발전방향을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구결과 피아노 교사들은 현재 학생의 흥미 및 동기유발 유지 및 실패, 입시위주의 교육환경, 교수법 연구 및 교사의 자질 부족, 획일적인 교육방식 등을 문제점으로 생각하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 앞으로 피아노 교육의 발전과 개선을 위해서는 변화하는 시대에 걸 맞는 교습방법과 교습 형태로의 전환, 다양한 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하며 체계적인 교사 교육제도의 마련과 전문성 신장을 위한 자기개발의 필요성이 제기된다. 따라서 많은 피아노 교사들의 책임감과 사명감이 필요할 뿐 아니라 대학에서도 준비된 교사를 양성하기 위한 다양한 노력이 시도되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to suggest identify problems of piano pedagogy, suggest solutions for the problems and presume the developmental direction of the piano education through piano teachers. First of all, current piano education problem was the failure of motivating students, the lack of qualified teachers, and finally the use of rote instruction in piano education. For the solutions to the problems, systematic teacher training and self-development are required and need to create new teaching methods in order to stimulate educational motivation of piano students. Also it is important to have the development of various educational programs for retraining piano teachers by piano pedagogical society. Furthermore, it is hope that this result will help for guiding better future of piano pedagogical education.
