dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to examine the mediation effect in relationship between exercise intention and exercise behavior. The direct and indirect effect of mediation model was moderated by self-efficacy and health consciousness among college students (N=249, 145 males and 104 females). For a validity analysis of the scales, descriptive statics analysis, EFA, CFA, reliability analysis etc. were conducted to verify structural validity. And the mediation effect, the moderation effect and conditional process analysis were conducted. As a result, the following findings were obtained. The results indicated that there were the positive association between exercise intention and exercise behavior. In addition, the results also indicated that direct and indirect effect of the mediation model was moderated by self-efficacy and health consciousness. These results are discussed with exercise participation theory(e.g., theory of planned behavior self-efficacy theory, transtheoretical model). | - |
