보육교사의 감정노동과 행복의 관계 : 직무스트레스의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 감정노동이 행복감에 주는 영향에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 보육교사 277명을 대상으로 감정노동, 행복감, 직무스트레스에 대한 설문조사를 하였으며 감정노동이 행복에 주는 영향에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 알아보고자 Baron and Kenny의 매개효과 검증을 하였다. 감정노동의 하위요인인 자연적, 내면적, 표면적 행동과 행복의 관계에서 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 직무스트레스는 자연적 행동, 내면적 행동과 행복의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 자연적, 내면적 행동의 감정노동을 통해 행복감이 증가하는 과정에서 직무스트레스가 높아지면 행복감이 감소함을 시사한다.

This study’s aim is to explore the mediating effect of job stress on daycare center teachers' emotional labor and happiness. Two hundred and seventy-seven teachers were surveyed. For analysis, Baron and Kenny's mediating effect method and Pearson’s correlation were used. The results showed that teachers‘ emotional labor and happiness were correlated. It was also found that the natural- and internal-emotional labor, which were mediated by job stress, affected the teachers' happiness. But, there were no mediating effects for superficial-emotional labor. These results indicate that natural- and internal-emotional labor is positively related to and positively impacts teachers' happiness. Accordingly, teachers must be provided opportunities to express their emotions both naturally and internally.
