유아 자기조절 교육 실태와 교사의 인식 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 유아 자기조절 교육 실태와 교사의 인식을 조사 분석하는데 있다. 유아의 자기조절에 대한 교육 실태와 교사의 인식을 분석하기 위해 문헌분석, 전문가 집단과의 협의 그리고 문항 내용 이해도와 적합도 검증을 통해 설문지를 개발하고, 개발한 설문지를 통해 연구자료를 수집하였다. 연구도구인 설문지는 ‘자기조절 교육 실태’, ‘자기조절과 누리과정’, ‘자기조절 교육에 대한 교사 인식’, ‘자기조절에 기반한 사회적역량 교육에 대한 교사 인식’의 4개 범주로 구분하여 총 18문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 249명의 유아교사들이었으며, 수집된 연구자료는 x2-검증을 통해 배경변인에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아 자기조절 교육 실태와 교사 인식 그리고 자기조절에 기반한 사회적역량 교육에 대한 교사 인식은 교사의 배경변인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the status and early childhood teachers’ awareness of self control education for young children. A questionnaire was developed based on prior literature, research and arrangements with early childhood professionals. The questionnaire was composed of 4 areas of 18 questions related to ‘status of self control education for young children’, ‘self control and Nuri Curriculum’, ‘general awareness of self control education for young children’, and ‘awareness of social competence education based on self control for young children’. The subjects in this study were 249 early childhood teachers. Data analysis was conducted by x2-test. The results of this study indicated that there were partially significant differences among the groups in the status and teachers’ awareness of self control education, and social competence education based on self control for young children. Finally, ways to promote efficiency of self control education and social competence education based on self control for young children were discussed.
