- Vision The field of mechanical engineering is very broad and many advances span multiple subfields. The Transactions of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering publishes research that covers the area of mechanical engineering, specifically multidisciplinary advances in the field and novel technology development. The journal provides a forum for Canadian and international researchers, engineers, and practitioners in the mechanical engineering field to disseminate their latest studies. The journal aims to provide a fast and rigorous review process for the latest research in mechanical engineering. Submissions are sought from leading engineers and researchers who wish to reach a broad audience in mechanical engineering. The journal also publishes special issues in research subjects related to emerging technologies in mechanical engineering. Scope Published since 1972, this quarterly journal features comprehensive research articles and notes in the broad field of mechanical engineering. New advances in energy systems, biomechanics, engineering analysis and design, environmental engineering, materials technology, advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, MEMS, nanotechnology, thermo-fluids engineering, and transportation systems are featured.
