Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors affecting the construction error of the modular construction method. The modular construction method is a factory-oriented construction method, but the construction phase is mainly focused on the assembly process. Thereby, It is important to control the installation tolerance between modular units, when assembling modular units. Therefore, this study investigated the factors affecting the construction error of the construction work using the modular construction method. As a result, we could derive the fundamental factors that could affect the field construction error by literature review, case analysis, and expert interview.
