- Abstract
- Despite the efforts of the public and private sectors to vitalize the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry, creating the expected Return on Investment (ROI) of BIM have not heen allowed generally. Performance Management is a key process to optimize benefits of investment by providing a description of the current state and the right information for critical decisionmaking. This research proposes a performance assessment system which can provide the opportunity of managing investment of BIM and maximizing BIM benefits with comparable and objective value on its performance. To achieve this, a BIM PMS consisting of BIM BSC based BIM performance assessment framework, BIM Score and its distribution has been suggested. This development could contribute to optimizing BIM performance by visualizing the benefits of BIM and providing critical information for strategic decision making at corporate level.
