Abstract
이 연구에서는 국내 냉간성형강 구조설계기준의 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 냉간성형 각형강관 압축부재의 구조거동을 조사하기 위해 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 실험체는 일반구조용 각형강관(SRT275)으로 제작하였다. 주요변수는 압축재 길이(250mm, 1000mm, 2000mm), 단면치수(50x50mm, 75x75mm), 강관두께(2.0mm, 2.9mm)로 계획하였다. 강관표면의 초기변형이 측정되었고 재료시험결과 강도 및 연신율에 대한 KS의 최저요구조건을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 부재길이가 250mm인 단주 실험체는 모두 국부좌굴이 발생하였다. 부재길이가 1000mm와 2000mm인 실험체는 국부좌굴 또는 전체좌굴에 의해 최대내력이 결정되었다. 큰 세장비에도 불구하고, 세장단면요소와 상대적으로 큰 폭두께비를 갖는 일부실험체는 국부좌굴이 관찰되었다. 실험내력과 국내강구조기준(KDS), 미국강구조학회(AISC), 유럽기준(EC3) 및 미국철강협회(AISI)의 현행 구조기준에 의한 예측좌굴내력과 비교하였다.
An experimental study was performed to investigate the structural behaviors of cold-formed carbon steel square hollow section columns to provide basic data of Korean design specifications for cold-formed steel structures. Specimens were fabricated with carbon steel square pipes for general structural purpose (SRT275). Main variables included the column length of 250mm, 1000mm and 2000mm, section dimension of 50x50mm and 75x75mm and section thickness of 2.0mm and 2.9mm. The initial imperfections of the specimen surface were measured and the material properties of these specimens satisfied the minimum requirement of Korean standards. All of the specimens or stubs with the column length of 250mm showed local buckling. The ultimate state of specimens with 1000mm and 2000mm column lengths were determined by local buckling or global buckling. Despite the large slenderness ratio, local buckling was observed in some specimens with a slender section element and a relatively large width-thickness ratio. Test results were compared with ultimate buckling strengths predicted by current design specifications of the Korean Design Standard (KDS), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Eurocode 3 (EC3), and the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). © 2022 Architectural Institute Of Korea.
