The purpose of this article is to evaluate and compare the level of implementation of good governance by national governing bodies of sport under the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee using the S4GG(Sport 4 Good Governance) Evaluation Tool and further derive policy implications related to the implementation of good governance. The paper evaluates the level of implementation of good governance by Korean Footfall Association (KFA), Korea Karate Federation (KKF) and Korean Yoga Association (KYA). The article reveals that the KFA was evaluated as having an excellent level of implementation of good governance overall. The paper also identifies that the level of implementation of good governance of the KKF and the KYA was evaluated to be relatively low compared to the Korea Football Association. In particular, the KFA shows its weaknesses in the level of implementation in the indicators of "right to participate and speak," and "risk management," while the KKF has the lack of implementation in the indicators of "risk management," "training and awareness improvement," "open communication," and "right to participate and speak". The KYA needs to be improved in indicators of "risk management," "training and awareness improvement," "financial reporting and control," "open communication," and "right to participate and speak.“ It is concluded that the ultimate goal of implementing good governance is to establish a system to prevent corruption inherent in sport organizations and negative factors that hinder the original value of sports through the proper implementation of the good governance principles in sport settings presented by IOC(International Olympic Committee) and EOC(European Olympic Committees).-
