dc.description.abstract | LEO satellites cause frequent handoff by high mobility, narrow beam coverage, and dynamic topology. Frequent handoff causes excessive routing path switching and increased signal overhead. The existing terrestrial routing methods try to minimize the routing path switching and reduce overhead by different routing table updating processes that update neighboring routers and all area routers during handoff. However, the existing routing methods advance routing with the fixed router. In this paper, we review recent research on reducing overhead during handoff in routing algorithms that are applied to static topology generated by dividing dynamic topology. | - |
