- Abstract
- Recently, massive harm from fugitive dust caused by construction vehicles has occurred at construction sites in urban areas of Korea. In particular, fine dust contained in fugitive dust causes health problems to residents and workers near the site, so it must be predicted and managed in advance. Therefore, in this study, major materials that are expected to be transported in a large amount are derived, and the method of calculating emission factors and total emission of PM caused by transporting the materials are studied for the purpose of predicting the amount of PM generated by transporting major materials at construction sites. As a result, emission factors are derived according to the transport of major materials, and the method for calculating the emissions at the construction site is proposed.
