dc.description.abstract | In this paper, velocity control using torque modulation is proposed for Brushless DC motor. Torque modulation is designed to improve velocity tracking performance based on error dynamics. Lyapunov based current controller is developed to tracking desired currents generated from desired torque, which is calculated based on torque modulation scheme. Closed-loop stability is proven by Hurwitz’s theorem. Simulations are performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. | - |
