dc.description.abstract | Color and art form are inextricably linked. Color is not just the most fundamental human sensory experience; it is also a psychological phenomenon and ideology developed from human social activities, as well as a visual sign used to express emotional information. The study of the interaction of visual and perceptual characteristics of color contributes to a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture and is of major theoretical importance. The purposeful development of color visual elements and color perceptual elements in modern design to the form of traditional Chinese color research and the importance of color having a functional element of visual communication to enable people to receive information The interaction of color and perception is one of the most important consequences. The "Triad Relationship" of visual expression type in the "Cultural Code Brand Design Methodology," according to American semiotic researcher Charles Sanders Peirce and Korean design professor Choi Albert Young of Hanyang University, is a research approach that can benefit Chinese designers. The study of color's visual and perceptual aspects aids in the recognition and comprehension of traditional Chinese colors. Color's usage as a carrier for many demands is still relevant in modern design. We can explore the artistic expression by analyzing three varieties of traditional Chinese colors, namely "official costume," "folk costume," and "Tang Sancai," which are emblematic of the Sui and Tang periods. The core of color is changed in order to enter into artistic expression. In this way, we display a comprehension of color construction through the application of traditional Chinese colors in modern design, as well as a multi-layered interpretation rich in cultural value. | - |
