dc.description.abstractTo mitigate a non-ideal virtual ground of bandgap reference (BGR), this paper presents a BGR that uses an impedance-splitting negative-R-assisted technique that enhances its open-loop gain, including power supply rejection ratio (PSRR). The proposed technique splits the feedback node from the input of the amplifier and mitigates the non-ideal virtual ground. It ensures an improvement in the open-loop gain, even in the presence of process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations. The simulation results indicated that the proposed BGR circuit provides the reference voltage of 1.198 V, a PSRR of -109 dB at low frequency, temperature coefficient (TC) of 7.27 ppm/°C, and process deviation factor values of 2.68 %. The BGR circuit was designed and simulated using 180 nm CMOS technology. © 2023 IEEE.-
