국내 종합병원 설계경기에서 나타나는 치유개념의 확장에 관한 연구

Abstract

Purpose: Hospitals are changing from special spaces to everyday spaces visited to treat physical and psychological diseases due to an increase in life expectancy and an increase in interest in health. Therefore, it is considered that the perspective on viewing the hospital should also change, so this study aims to present a new perspective on viewing the hospital. Methods: In order to understand the changes in the healing concept spatially implemented in hospitals, the spatial healing concept defined so far was considered. And by analyzing the design manual of the proposal of the hospital design competition in Korea, the designer's intention to plan the healing space is identified to derive the healing concept that has recently been spatially implemented. Results: From the concept of healing for patients in the past, the scope of healing has been extended to all members of the hospital and citizens of the city. Accordingly, this study presents a new perspective ‘caring’, which is a human ontological reason. Implications: It is necessary to present the differences and commonalities between healing and caring in hospitals.
