기계설비건설기업의 총요소생산성 분석: 국제비교를 중심으로

dc.description.abstract본 연구는 국내외 기계설비건설기업의 총요소생산성 측정을 통하여 국내 기계설비건설기업의 위치를 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 2002년부터 2021년까지의 국내외 20개 기계설비건설기업의 패널자료를 활용하여 확률변경분석(SFA) 방법을 이용하여 초월대수 확률 생산함수를 추정하였다. 이를 바탕으로 기술적 효율성과 기술변화의 변화율을 측정한 후, 총요소생산성 지수를 계측하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 기계설비건설기업의 기술적 효율성 변화가 평균을 상회하며 생산 효율성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전반적으로 국내외 기계설비건설기업의 기술변화가 일어나지 못하였으며, 특히 우리나라 기계설비건설기업의 경우 기술변화가 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 분석대상 세계 기계설비건설기업의 총요소생산성은 분석기간 동안 증가를 나타내었고 이는 기술적 효율성 변화 증가에 따른 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 국내 기계설비건설기업의 총요소생산성 증가율은 평균을 상회하며 분석대상 기업 중 상위권을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 기계설비건설분야에서 처음으로 초월대수 확률 생산함수에 기초한 확률변경분석 방법을 적용하여 국내외 기계설비건설기업을 대상으로 총요소생산성을 측정하고 효율성 향상 방안을 제시하였다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.-
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to measure the position of domestic and foreign Machinery Facilities Construction Firms by the Total Factor Productivity(TFP). To achieve this, the Translog Stochastic Production Function were estimated using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis(SFA) methods using panel data of 20 domestic and foreign Machinery Facilities Construction Firms from 2002 to 2021. Based on this, 'Technical Efficiency Change(EC)' and 'Technical Change(TC) were measured, and the TFP index was calculated. The main findings are as follows. First, the EC of Korean Machinery Facilities Construction Firms is above the average, indicating high production efficiency. Second, the TC of domestic and foreign Machinery Facilities Construction Firms in general has not occurred. And in particular, the TC of Korean Machinery Facilities Construction Firms is insufficient. Third, the TFP of the analyzed global Machinery Facilities Construction Firms has been increasing over the period, and the increase in TFP is mainly due to the increase in Technical Efficiency(TE). Fourth, the growth rate of TFP of Korean Machinery Facilities Construction Firms is above the average and ranks among the highest among the analyzed firms. This paper is significant in that it applies the SFA method for the first time in the field of machinery facilities construction to measure TFP and suggest efficiency improvement measures for domestic and foreign Machinery Facilities Construction Firms.-
