dc.description.abstract | This study`s purpose is searching symbolism of Korean ByeongPung. The Korean climate have played role in the development of ByeongPung, which was for winterizing a room. During the Chosun dynasty`s, Ondol was being used for heating, but the strong wind still tore through windows and gaps in sliding doors because the windows were covered with paper. The ByeongPung was designed to provide a windbreak. | - |
