dc.description.abstract | Bearings are essential components in propulsion and power systems, enabling the smooth and reliable operation of rotating machinery. With the increasing demand for more efficient and sustainable propulsion and power systems, the reliable design and durable performance of bearings are becoming more important. This invited talk discusses the challenges and opportunities of bearings in future propulsion and power systems. New materials/coatings, manufacturing techniques, lubrication systems, novel configurations, predictive tools are required to meet the challenges of enhanced efficiency, durability, and reliability. | - |
