Abstract: The New Media has been appeared by scientific technology development. The birth of a new media phenomenon, which is convergence with existing media and new technologies, has becoming more active in recent years. Currently, AR: Augmented Reality has attracted attention in the field of new media. The Augmented Reality field, a hypothetical synthesis of existing reality, is known as a great representative field, if it can be fused with the education system. In particular, the field of education increasingly has been applied with multiple and various technology of IT, digital contents and products; through using pour information and digitalization of spot of education. With this flow, field of education is trying to build a new education environment based on augmented reality with the increasing interest and various studies. Therefore, this research is focused on a reality of the present issue in South Korea, which is the best use of ‘brain-based education’. Early childhood is a great time for brain development and this study is to explore educational direction through discovering the appropriate brain development in early childhood education being incorporated with augmented reality technology. First, we researched the theoretical principles of brain-based education, preceding discussion papers and documents, and the cases of brain training. Second, we researched theoretical background for augmented reality, and the direction of examples of educational content. Finally, we found the common parts of the educational content of the brain-based training content and augmented reality content, which allowed us to propose how to find more effective and synergistic educational platform and direction.-
