dc.description.abstract | We report a new microchip-based system which can simultaneously detect several biochemical reactions, antigen-antibody reactions, through the electro-immunosensing method in real time with high sensitivity and low sample volume by using nanogold particle and silver enhancement. In our system, we adopted the filtration method using the microbead as sample immobilization. We took an experiment in immunoassay utilizing our system. As used antigens in immunoassay, we choose three bio-markers, AFP (alpha-fetoprotein) for liver cancer, CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) for colon cancer and PSA (prostate specific antigen) for prostatic cancer respectively. three bio-markers were detected by electro-immunosensing method over the concentration of 0.001 ㎍/㎖. In case of below the concentration of 0.001 ㎍/㎖, we cannot detect the electrical signal resulting from immuno-reaction. As a result, we shortened the overall analysis time from 3~8 hours to 50~60 min and we simultaneously detected three bio-markers making use of our microbiochip-based detection system in real time. | - |
