dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we propose a real-time processing method of contrast enhancement techniques. The proposed method improves the processing speed by modifying the nonlinear processing step of the conventional DRSHE method. The proposed method includes the following steps. Firstly, the histogram dynamic range is divided into k-th sub-histogram. Secondly, a linear transfer function is produced for the subhistogram dynamic range adjustments. Finally, the subhistogram dynamic range is redistributed using a linear transfer function. The proposed method is suitable for real-time implementation to maintain the effect of the conventional method and to improve the processing time. | - |
