dc.description.abstract | Implementation of pthreads in embedded and other hardware-related systems are common, especially when dealing with systems that require parallel process executions and reduced memory consumption. However, implementation of pthreads are still unable to solve issues regarding arbitrary output due to the occurrence of deadlock and data races. In this paper, we study existing benchmarks in order to overcome the common issues which exists in pthreads. We investigate existing parallel programming framework and suggest which frameworks are best to be implemented with pthreads. We then give suggestions on new benchmarks for pthreads in embedded systems. | - |
