dc.description.abstract | The polyaniline-MnO2 nanocomposites constructed as a solid-state reference electrode (SSRE-PAM) and their electrochemical properties were examined in the cement extract (CE) containing 0 and 3.5% NaCl. The stability and reversibility behavior of SSRE-PAM have been studied by saturated calomel clectrode (SCE) using electrochemical technique The corrosion performance of steel rebar immersed in CE with 0 and 3.5% NaCI using SSRE-PAM was monitored by open circuit potential (OCP) and potentiodynamic polarization techniques. The results confirm that the SSRE-PAM is stable in an alkaline environment, and it can be easy to predict the reinforcement corrosion in the concrete structures. | - |
