dc.description.abstract | fib Model Code for Concrete Structures 2010 provides the strength and maturity functions to predict compressive strength development of concrete. The default values of the coefficient s in the function are given only considering different cement classes. However, s value is influenced by the water/binder ratio, curing time, SCM type, content and its physicochemical properties. To predict compressive strength of GGBFS concrete under different curing temperatures, this paper standardizes mortar-based method to obtain the s value and best-fit apparent activation energy. Via examples, it demonstrates that feasibility of the proposed mortar-based method to estimate strength development of concrete. | - |
