KPGA 코리안투어 선수들의 연도별 골프 경기력 추이분석(2010-2024)

Abstract

본 연구는 KPGA(한국프로골프협회) 코리안투어 선수들의 경기력 기술요인 통계 자료를 토대로 연도 구간별 경기력 기술요인의 변화를 비교ㆍ분석하여 선수들의 경기력 향상을 위한 전략적 시사점을 제공하고자 진행되었다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 KPGA 공식 홈페이지에서 제공하는 2010년부터 2024년까지 총 15년의 통계자료를 사용하였으며, 5년 주기를 기준으로 3구간으로 구분하였다. 수집된 자료에 대한 분석은 SPSS V.29를 사용하였으며, 구간별 선수들의 평균타수 및 경기력 기술요인을 알아보기 위해 기술통계 분석을 실시하였다. 이 후 연도 구간별 평균타수(파3, 파4, 파5)와 기술요인의 차이를 알아보기 위해 일원배치분산분석(one-way ANOVA)를 실시하였으며, 유의한 차이를 나타냈을 경우 Scheffe를 사용하여 사후분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 연도 구간별 모든 평균타수(파3, 파4, 파5) 및 경기력 기술요인의 차이를 확인하였다. 이처럼 연도 구간별 경기력의 차이를 검증한 결과는 선수들의 경기력 변화 양상을 객관적으로 평가하고 앞으로 발전 방향을 제시하기 위한 연구가 될 수 있을 것으로 생각되며, 향후 경기력 예측 모델 개발을 위한 기초자료로써 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

This study aimed to compare and analyze changes in performance-related skill factors of KPGA (Korea Professional Golfers' Association) Korean Tour players over different time periods, providing strategic implications for enhancing player performance. To achieve this objective, official statistical data from the KPGA website spanning from 2010 to 2024 were utilized, and the data were divided into three periods based on a five-year interval. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS V.29, and descriptive statistics were conducted to examine the average scores and performance-related skill factors of the players in each period. Subsequently, a one-way ANOVA was performed to identify differences in average scores (par 3, par 4, and par 5) and technical factors across the time periods. If significant differences were observed, a post-hoc analysis was conducted using Scheffe's test. The results, indicated significant differences in all average scores (par 3, par 4, and par 5) and performance-related skill factors across the time periods. These findings objectively evaluate the trends in players' performance changes over time and provide insights into future development directions. Furthermore, they serve as fundamental data for developing predictive models of player performance in future research.
