생성형 AI를 활용한 라이프스타일 호텔 로비 공간 바이오필릭 디자인에 시각화 관한 연구

Abstract

21세기 데이터 축적과 알고리즘의 발전으로 인공지능은 건축과 공간 디자인에서 창의성과 효율성을 향상하는 중요한 도구로 자리 잡았다. 이에 본 연구는 인공지능을 활용해 바이오필릭 디자인을 반영한 라이프스타일 호텔 로비 공간의 자연 간접 경험을 시각화하여 초기 설계 단계에서 다양한 가능성을 탐색함으로써 설계의 효율성을 높이는 것에 목표를 두고 있다. 연구 범위는 MZ세대의 상징성을 가진 라이프스타일 호텔 로비 공간을 대상으로, 바이오필릭 자연의 간접 경험 속성의 표현 방법을 선택하고, 이를 Stable Diffusion을 통해 디자인 시각화하는 가능성을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 선행 연구인 학술논문과 참고서적 문헌 고찰을 통해 바이오필릭 디자인과 인공지능의 정의를 이해하고 Stable Diffusion을 활용해 호텔 로비 공간의 바이오필릭 디자인 시각화를 개발하였으며, 생성된 결과를 분석하여 활용 방안을 제시하였다. AI로 생성된 호텔 로비 시각화에서 바이오필릭 디자인은 자연의 이미지, 재료, 색상, 형태 및 모방이라는 네 가지 간접속성을 통해 연구하였다. 향후 Stable Diffusion의 심화 학습을 통해 이러한 자연 요소의 시각적 표현이 보다 강화되기를 기대한다.

With the accumulation of data and advancements in algorithms in the 21st century, artificial intelligence has become an essential tool for enhancing creativity and efficiency in architecture and spatial design. The aim of this study is to visualize indirect natural experiences through biophilic design in lifestyle hotel lobbies using artificial intelligence, thereby exploring diverse possibilities during the early stages of the design process to enhance efficiency. This study specifically focuses on lifestyle hotel lobbies that resonate with the MZ generation. It examines methods for expressing indirect natural experience attributes of biophilic design and visualizes these through Stable Diffusion. The research methodology involves a review of academic literature to understand biophilic design and artificial intelligence, followed by the application of Stable Diffusion to visualize biophilic design in hotel lobby spaces. The results generated were analyzed to propose potential application strategies. In the AI-generated visualization of the hotel lobby, biophilic design was studied based on four indirect attributes: natural images, materials, colors, forms, and imitations. It is expected that advanced fine-tuning through Stable Diffusion will improve the visual representation of these natural elements.
