- Abstract
- As the necessity of environmental load reduction in construction industry has emerged, construction materials industry contribute to environmental load reduction with the means of sustainable method and technological development. Currently, however, standard of environmental load emission evaluation is not being considered for construction materials. This study was conducted with the goal of proposal an on the system boundary for construction materials life cycle assessment. The requirements of international standards in addition to analysis of foreign construction materials, environmental labeling by analyzing operating practices, and investigate the properties of the construction materials was applied in accordance with written instructions. Environmental load through the evaluation of the construction materials module selected appropriate assessment and evaluation modules selected by evaluation of the construction materials measures proposed environmental loads.
