CM at Risk 발주방식에서 설계사의 역할

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the role of design companies in Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk) Delivery Method. Majority of current CM projects in South Korea for major government and non-governmental projects utilizes CM for Fee and due to difficulties in managing the project as well as number of common issues related with CM for Fee projects from the client’s side there are increase in need for the CM at risk process. Previously, there were some trials to introduce CM at Risk delivery method but there are lack of understanding and experience related to CM at Risk. This study proposes to understanding the role and importance of design companies in CM at Risk delivery method and to better assist architects from the selection of Construction Manager to Preconstruction Phase in completing a successful CM at Risk Project.
