- Abstract
- The Multi-Active Bridge (MAB) DC-DC Converter shows promise in connecting various DC voltage sources and loads and independently controlling the power between each port. The Quadrature-Active Bridge(QAB) converter is a type of MAB converter that enables free power transfer among four ports. Since the QAB converter controls the power of each port through the leakage inductance of the MFT, accurate measurement of the transformer parameters is important. Several methods for measuring the leakage inductance of MFT in the QAB converter have been proposed, however, their accuracy is low due to the complexity of the equivalent model of MFT. This paper proposes a method for measuring the parameters of the MFT through power testing of the QAB converter. This method requires fewer measurements compared to conventional methods, offers a significantly simplified calculation process for parameter conversion, and enables more accurate parameter estimation than conventional approaches.
