Risk Management Factors Considering Brazilian Market for Construction Companies

Abstract

Recently, Korean construction companies have shown increasing interests on Brazilian infrastructure market. Brazil offers very attractive conditions, such as a huge domestic market: 209 million inhabitants, big diversity of raw materials and also diversified economy, good geographic position for making easier the network between South American countries, extensive offer of workers at all levels of education for cheap salaries, and at last the weak currency leading to cheaper Brazilian products for foreigners. Thus, by using literature review this paper shows the most appropriated definitions involved on risk management and elaborate summary explaining possible solutions to minimize these risks.
