dc.description.abstractIn this study, the operating noise of a front-door window of a vehicle was studied. The time response and frequency spectrum of this noise were measured through experiments and analyzed. To investigate the mechanism of the operating noise, the sound pressure level and frequency according to the operating state of the door window were analyzed. The noise increased greatly when the window regulator motor was mounted on the module plate. To find the cause of the increase in noise, the operating deflection shape of the door module was measured. It was found that the noise increase was caused by the torsional behavior of the motor exciting the module plate. To reduce this noise, a finite element model of the door module with a window was established, and a method to reduce the vibration was proposed by changing the shape of the module plate.-
