dc.description.abstractRecently, a technique field weakening of PM magnet promising solution for the wide the PM machines. This paper presents the concept of phase swapping where different phases of the machine are interchanged to achieve desired field weakening using windings switching technique. Maxwell 2-D simulation results are provided to validate the proposed concept on a 2-pole 24-slot machine for three different speed ranges.-
