dc.description.abstractLow speed dual stator spoke type vernier motors are used for high torque applications. This paper presents the comparison between two different topologies of vernier motor operation which are Double air gap vernier motor with no inner stator winding and single air gap motor. The basic idea of this paper is to show that dual air gap motor with no inner winding performs better as compared to the single air gap model. By using FEA analysis the performance of both the models is compared and found that dual air gap machine with no Inner stator winding performs better in terms of High torque density and efficiency.-
