- Abstract
- Concept of building wireless networks based on Wi-Fi is presently growing so fast due to its advantages such as low cost, mobility sufficient bandwidth and its unlicensed mode operation. To enhance throughput, IEEE develop two new amendements 802.11ac operating in 5 GHZ bands and 802.11ad operating in 60 GHz band, which can provide solutions of throughput intensive applications such as local file transfer to high Definition (HD) video transfer, by issuing the guarantee of best performance, minimized complexity and lower cost of implementation. This paper aims to survey research articles on 802.11ac and 802.11ad physical key features in wireless networks.
