dc.description.abstract | Recently wireless communication traffics continue to increase since development of wireless communications service and dissemination of smartphones. Cognitive radios represent a promising technique to resolve the problem of spectrum exhaustion. In cognitive radio network, the secondary users(SU) are allowed to utilize the frequency bands of primary users when these spectrum is not currently being used. SU has to access the primary spectrum with minimum interference to the primary system. In this paper, SUs report to Fusion Center(FC) after cooperative spectrum sensing. Each SU make a local decision with hard decision sensing scheme, and FC make a final decision with ether OR-rule or AND-rule. In this scenario, The aim of this study is to increase SU’s throughput as reducing reporting error when reporting errors in reporting channel exist. Computer simulations have shown that reporting error is decreased by increasing reporting time and AND-rule represent a favourable solution than OR-rule. Therefore we c an control reporting time in time slot, then choose optimal reporting time to maximize throughput. | - |
