Abstract
Construction materials industry have contributed to environmental load reduction with the means of sustainable method and technological development. However, the present standard of environmental assessment is not considered for construction materials in the product category rules. This study was conducted with the goal of proposal an on the product category rules of environmental assessment for building insulation materials. The requirements of international standards in addition to analysis of foreign construction materials, environmental labeling by analyzing operating practices, and investigate the properties of the building insulation materials was applied in accordance with written instructions. Selected evaluation module suitable for environmental assessment of building insulation, and proposed the environmental assessment of the building insulation on this module.
