dc.description.abstract | This paper proposes a new commutation point (CP) estimation method for a high speed sensorless BLDC using Back-EMF change rate . A typical CP detection method may not work correctly at high speed when the number of sampled data is not enough. In the proposed method, back-EMF change rate is calculated from the measured values and utilized to estimate commutation point by employing Least Square method. The experimental results show the validity of the proposed estimation method. | - |
