DEA를 통한 산업단지내 강소기업의 효율성 평가 및 특성에 관한 연구: R&D 투자를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 한국 산업단지공단에서 주최하는 강소기업 선발 사업(2014년 글로벌 창의/혁신 우수기업 육성전략)에서 1차 추천된 기업 자료(우리나라 산업단지 13곳에 위치하고 있는 24개의 제조업체)를 기반으로, 강소기업의 속성을 파악한 연구이다. 이를 위해 DEA의 CCR/BCC 모델을 사용하여 강소기업을 레벨(수준)을 분류하였으며, 분류된 기업의 사례조사를 통해 집단을 정의하고 속성을 파악하였다. DEA의 투입변수는 R&D 투자(기술개발 인력, 기술개발 투자액)이며 산출변수는 기업평가 자료(매출액, 기술개발실적)와 현장조사 자료(경영평가, 사업성, 기술성)로 설계하여 분석하였다. DEA 적용에 있어 프론티어 확장을 통해 집단을 네 가지 집단으로 분류하였으며, 각 집단의 투입/산출변수의 차이에 대해 해석하였다. 최종적으로 네 가지 집단에 속한 기업들을 선별하여 각 기업의 특징을 해석하였다.

The purpose of this study is to help understand the characteristics of hidden champions withthe data about primarily recommended companies based on the project to screen hiddenchampions (2014 strategies to promote global creative/innovative hidden champions) sponsoredby the Korea Industrial Complex Corp. Unlike advanced research based on case analysis, thisresearcher employed the CCR/BCC Model of DEA (data envelopment analysis) to classify hiddenchampions by levels and defined groups through case study on the champions classified andfigured out the characteristics of them. For the DEA, input variables were designed as R&Dinvestment (manpower for technology development & investment for technology development),and output variables were designed as data about corporate evaluation (sales & result oftechnology development) and data about research on the site (management evaluation, businessvalue, & technology). For the application of the DEA, the researcher extended the frontier andclassified them into four groups and then analyzed difference between input and output variablesin each of the groups. Finally, companies belonging to the four groups were screened and thenanalyzed to figure out the characteristics of each.
