dc.description.abstractIn this paper, A six-degree-of-freedom nonlinear model with translation motion is developed for the dynamic analysis of spur gear pair. The mesh deformation is defined by rotation and translation motion. The factors such as time-varying mesh stiffness, bearing stiffness, rotating damping and input torque are considered for dynamic analysis. The response of mesh deformation is calculated using Newmark-method. The result shows that translation motion has influence on the system and the influence appear early in the result of response.-
