dc.description.abstract | The number of IT (Information Technology) SI (System Integration) projects is increasing rapidly. Reasonable profit rate of a project is very important but the actual profit rate of SI projects in Korea is relatively low. In general, incomplete requirements of clients, inaccurate cost estimation, and a firmfixed price contract are main causes of low profit rate in SI Projects. In this paper, we take the S company in Korea as an example to investigate actual causes related with profit rate of SI projects and propose how to optimize the profit rate. We analyze the real data from completed SI projects over last five years and show the results. | - |
