In order to meet the project due date, one needs to expedite the project. It means that some activities must be done faster than normal. Crashing an activity saves time but increases the cost. Thus there must be a time-cost tradeoff for crashing activities ensuring quality. In this paper, we propose a new model considering the activity reject rate to ensure quality in the time-cost tradeoff in crash completion of a project. This paper helps project management practitioners to schedule crash activities more realistically.-
